Case of former Trooper accused of breaking into Utica home pending possible grand jury

The former State Trooper who is accused of breaking into a Utica home back in January appeared in Utica City Court today.

Jesse Miller's case was adjourned for thirty days.

Miller, 31, is accused of breaking into a South Utica home and confronting and assaulting a man who lived there.

He faces assault, criminal mischief and criminal trespassing charges.

Miller is expected to appear back in court on May 10, 2012.

The case is pending a possible grand jury.
