Verona man facing sexual abuse charges

A month long investigation has led to the arrest of a Rome man under two felony sexual abuse charges.
According to State Police, Brent Reader, 32, of Verona met a child under the age of 17 from the internet while he portrayed himself as a teenager.
Police say he then had sex with the child and filmed the acts.
He is charged with Using a Child in a Sexual Performance, Criminal Sexual Act, and Resisting Arrest.
He is being held in the Oneida County Jail.
