Oneonta man charged with attempted arson

An Oneonta man is under arrest and facing attempted arson charges.

According to the Oneonta Police Department, Gable Bugel, 22, tried to set a fire behind the Community Bank on Main Street.

Police are still investigating six other arsons and three attempted arsons that took place this past weekend.

There have not been any more fires since the arrest.

The investigation will continue.
