Driver flees on foot after police chase

State Police are investigating an accident that took place on Route 12 in Utica on Thursday.
According to Police, Henry Lumpkin, 22, of Utica was pulled over for speeding, and when a Trooper approached the vehicle, Lumpkin fled the scene.
Police say he fled northbound on Route 12 in Utica and lost control of the vehicle.
It overturned on the east side of the road where Lumpkin fled the scene again, this time on foot, according to Police.
Two passengers were sent to the hospital and treated for their injuries.
The location of Lumpkin is still under investigation with charges pending.
