Utica man arrested 10 days after fleeing from police

Utica Police have arrested the driver of the vehicle who fled from police on April 27.
According to Police, Henry Lumpkin, 22, of Utica led police on a high speed chase, crashed his vehicle, and ran away, leaving two injured passengers at the scene--one pinned under the vehicle.
Police say Lumpkin was found hiding in the basement of a Utica home.
Lumpkin faces several charges, including 2 counts of Assault, Reckless Endangerment, Unlawful Fleeing a Police Officer, multiple V&T violations, and a Parole violation.
Lumpkin was transported to Utica Police Department where he is awaiting arraignment on May 7, 2012.
