BOCES students celebrated a milestone today. Three students graduated and received their GED's.  And what better way to celebrate than a barbeque on this beautiful day.

Students and staff gathered at the Jay Street Community Garden in Utica. The graduates have been coming to the garden and planted a number of crops.

For one graduate, she says today is a proud moment for her.

"Because to now that I finished my GED I can now go to college. I want to be in nursing," said Mu Kye Oh, one of the three graduates.

There was also a blessing ceremony. The graduates have been coming to the garden since April and learned intensive organic gardening methods.
