The primaries are over with and now candidates are focused on their campaigns and reaching out to the voters.

22nd Congressional District Democratic Candidate Dan Lamb was in the Utica-area today visiting with various organizations and attending events.

Mr. Lamb will be facing incumbent Richard Hanna and now candidate Michael Kicinski, who's running as an independent.

Lamb says he's pushing for the middle class and local employment.

"That's been the trend here for too many years where we've seen good businesses close their doors and move overseas because of the tax incentives that our current congress has approved of. We need to change the way congress operates so it's more business friendly that really supports the creation of jobs in upstate New York," said Lamb.

Voters will decide who will take the new 22nd Congressional seat November 6th.
