Water Main Break in Utica

A water main break this morning forced two streets in
the City of Utica to close. According to Mohawk Valley Water authority, the
water break happened at the corner of Erie and Dent streets around 8 A.M. Officials
say the city had contractors working on sewage lines along Erie street when
they hit a water line. They say that the line caused two houses to lose water
but only for a brief time.
