The City of Rome is asking for your time to help beautify the community.
Whether it's planting, watering or weeding flower beds in the city, Mayor Joseph Fusco says it would be a great way to get involved and give back to the neighborhood.
Cassandra Fusco says her and her family will be taking care of the flower bed on the corner of James and Martin Streets.
"This spot was mentioned and it actually means a little bit to our family because we had a family business down the road called el Chico's restaurant. So, the corner of Martin and James meant a lot and my uncle lived right around the corner," said Fusco.
Cassandra says this will be a start to a new family tradition.
If you would like to get involved, you are urged to call the mayor's office for more information.
