Oneida Nation's Smithsonian Exhibit will be getting some enhancements over the next couple of months.

The Oneida Nation's "Allies in War, Partners in Peace" statue at the museum in Washington D.C. will be brought to life with an eight minute multimedia show.

The museum's representative says visitors have been curious to learn more about the relationship between the American Indians and the U.S.

"The new and improved exhibit will include more of that story and tell people who Skenandoah was and who Polly Cooper was and what was going on at Valley Forge and how the Oneida's expressed their alliance with the United States," said Kevin Gover of the Smithsonian Institution Museum of the American Indian.

Oneida Nation Representative Ray Halbritter also presented the museum a million dollar installment of the Oneida Nation's $10 million commitment to the museum.
