Turning Stone Resort and Casino is breaking ground on a $25 million expansion.

Oneida Nation Representative and Nation Enterprises CEO, Ray Halbritter announced that it's going to start construction on a new entertainment complex.

It's being called Exit 33, and Turning Stone officials say this will be the largest construction project since work started at the Turning Stone Town and the Lodge in 2004.

Exit 33 will have four entertainment options, which include a country music dance hall, a piano bar, and more.

The project is expected to create more than 100 permanent jobs as well as provide of 200 jobs to local construction workers and others.

"There's a market out there, there's opportunity for tourism and this kind of entertainment, and for more so, this is great for the Oneida Nation and this is also great for our whole community," said Halbritter.

Construction on Exit 33 starts immediately and the plan is to open in July 2013.
