Joe sits down with Kristy Nole and Ann Rushlo of Leadership Mohawk Valley, which is a ten month community and business leadership development program. Kristy Nole explains the application process, and the fact that many of the candidates are first selected by their employers. Ann Rushlo discusses the wide array of candidates who enter the program, from mid level to executive level management. Kristy describes her own experience in the program, as she is a 2004 graduate and a current member of the board. SUNY IT and Americu Credit Union are just a couple of this year's sponsors. Ann discusses the origin of the program, which developed in 1990 and graduated its first class in 1991. To date, over 650 people have gone through the program. Class sizes are typically 36 individuals per ten month program. Kristy also discusses how the curriculum is constantly evolving, and the different leadership projects they're currently developing within the Mohawk Valley.
