Community members raise awareness on domestic violence at HCCC

Some Community members in Herkimer County made an effort to end violence against women and girls on Thursday.
Students, staff, and others took part in "One Billion Rising" at Herkimer County Community College.
It's a word wide event to address domestic violence in our society.
It's expected to be the largest day of action in the history of Valentine's Day.
Different clubs were there participating along with music and dancing.
The Dean of Students at HCCC says they also have similar programs like "One Billion Rising" throughout the school year.
