Planning continues for the Nano technology center in Marcy. Tonight officials from Mohawk Valley Edge discussed a number of issues concerning the site. The plot of land runs up to a largely residential area on hazard road. And the town board says there will not be an access point from hazard road to reduce the traffic. Edge officials also presented a plan to change a plot of land from residential to planned development.

Town Supervisor Brian Scala says, "Believe it or not planned development puts more control within the town because now everything's up for game and it's a good way to take it out of that hand and bring it more into the town's hands." The Board will vote on the proposal next month.
