Adam Kinzinger:
"One of the things that I actually am very excited about is the beginning of initiatives to take kids that are in high school and begin to introduce them to what manufacturing is, what science and technology and engineering and mathematics really can do and you pair them up with people who are out there working in the real world and they get an idea if this is something they want to do or not. Right now what you have in the situation where kids graduate from college and then they try to figure out what they want to do. It'd be a lot nicer if we could have more young people knowing what they want to do before they step into that learning process. "
Wanda Rohl:
"We need to move to where we have a marriage of industry and education, so that. Right now we do have a large population of unemployed people and also a large vast of job openings because the skill set doesn't match, so we have to figure out how our education system can better meet the needs of our private industry."
