Blue Devils flex offensive muscles

In a game dominated by offenses, the Camden Blue Devils proved they had more firepower than visiting Clinton in a 22-10 Tri-Valley League victory on Tuesday.
Clinton jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the top of the first inning before the Blue Devils came right back to score 12 runs in the bottom frame. Both teams combined for 32 runs on 39 hits.
The Blue Devils were led by Joe O’Rourke and Kyle Campbell, who each had five hits apiece in the game. O’Rourke also scored five runs and Campbell had four RBIs. Chuck DeLong had four hits with a triple and drove in four runs while Adam Bellinger had three hits in the win for the victors, as well.
Mike House picked up the win for the Blue devils, which moved to 2-0 overall and 1-0 in the league.
Clinton dropped to 0-1 in the TVL and overall.
The Blue Devils will face league host Vernon-Verona-Sherrill on Thursday at 4:15 p.m.
