Well the Whitesboro Warriors baseball team are on quite a roll, MHTS wraps up the Warriors Section III Class A championship victory over V-V-S.
The Observer Dispatch continues Warrior-mania with coverage of Whitesboro's opening round victory in the State tournament over Ichabod Crane.
Whitesboro wasn't the only team to take a Section III Class A crown, the Oneida Dispatch covers the action as the Indians beat Jamesville-DeWitt.
In Class C, South Lewis took home the Section III crown with a victory over Bishop Ludden and the Rome Sentinel was there for all the softball action.
The Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs won their season opener in front of a record setting crowd, and the Herkimer Telegram was there for every pitch.
The Utica Brewers also opened the season in-style, in no-hit style to be precise.
And finally the American Legion season has begun and Ilion post started with a win over visiting Utica post.
