Camden opened their season at the Dome but couldn't hold on to an early lead.

V-V-S lost when opponent Westhill scored the final 17 points of the game in the fourth quarter.  Final score, Westhill 38 - V-V-S 28.

The Ilion Golden Bombers bombed Little Falls 44-6.

Holland Patent got a victory over Oneida.

West Canada Valley ran over Morrisville-Eaton 49-20.

Cooperstown spoiled the opening of Mohawks' new Tolpa Athletic Complex with a 33-8 victory.

Mount Markham toppled Clinton in a defensive battle 14-8.

Proctor's coach Jerry Fiorini was pleasantely surprised with his teams 54-26 victory over Auburn.

And finally the Dolgeville defense shut-out Oriskany and the offense supplied 40 points in a season opening victory.
