What to Watch: Week of September 27th - October 3rd
Tuesday 9/28:
7PM - WPNY - Yankess baseball. The race for the AL East Crown heads down to the final week. Tampa sits half a game up on the Yanks in the standings but tonight the Bronx Bombers try to take back that lead against the Toronto Blue Jays.
Thursday 9/30:
6PM-8PM - WUTR - Utica Zoo Telethon. The only thing athletic about it will be watching the Sports Dude run away from the creepy crawlers at the Zoo live. Check it out, call in and donate. If you would like your children and grandchildren to have a zoo to call their own, the zoo needs your help.
Friday 10/01:
7PM - WPNY - Yankees baseball. The Yanks will still be battling with the Rays for the top spot in the AL East and who better than to do battle with in the final week of the season than the Boston Red Sox. See if the Yanks can pop the champange in Boston Friday night on WPNY.
Saturday 10/02:
3PM - WUTR - College Football. (21) Texas vs. (8) Oklahoma. It'll be a Big 12 South Showdown as the Oklahoma Sooners try to stay undefeated against the Longhorns.
4PM - WFXV - Major League Baseball. The Yankees-Red Sox rivalry continues on Fox's afternoon baseball coverage. If you saw last weekend's series between these two teams, you know that the Red Sox aren't going to lay down for the Yanks.
8PM - WUTR - College Football. Notre Dame @ Boston College. Two teams fighting to regain past glories. See who will come out on top in this prime-time showdown.
Sunday 10/03:
1PM - WFXV - NFL Game One. Carolina Panthers @ New Orleans Saints. The Saints will look to get back on track after a home loss to Atlanta while the Panthers are still looking to add a notch to the win column.
4PM - WFXV - NFL Game Two. Washington Redskins @ Philadelphia Eagles. Donovan McNabb will be the big story in this one as he returns to Philadelphia looking to bring his team back to .500. Meanwhile, Michael Vick will be running and gunning as the Eagles new starting QB.
