The nation is talking tonight about the 10th anniversary of September 11th and the potential for another terrorist attack.

U.S. officials say this is a credible, but unconfirmed threat by Al-Qaeda involving three individuals, one of them being a U.S. citizen.

Officials say U.S. spies intercepted communication from Al-Qaeda from a source who provided accurate information in the past.

New York and Washington tightened security as a response to the possible threat involving a vehicle-born bomb.

Local and state officals set up check points at tunnels and bridges, creating traffic delays.

With the threat coinciding with the tenth anniversary of September 11th, people here in Central New York have a range of emotions.

"It doesn't have to be just New York City. They can do other things in other places, so I'm very uneasy," said Utica resident, Nancy Renwick.

But, a man from Rome says he feels safe.

"I don't think too much has changed really. We have a threat of that every day. It's just not September 11th. You have to watch out for that kind of stuff every day."

Governor Cuomo says there is no need to panic, but he says to be cautious.
