Dispute Over Food Stamps Ends with Son's Arrest

A Clark Mills man is under arrest after he got into an altercation with
his mother early Wednesday morning, according to the Oneida County
Sheriff's Office.
24-year-old Hank Williams was reportedly intoxicated and engaged in a physical altercation with him mother. Reports say a gun was loaded and being used in the incident.
The investigation revealed that Williams came home intoxicated and forced his way in his mother's bedroom where he physically confronted her over food stamps.
According to reports, Williams cornered his mother where she was unable to get away. Another occupant in the house called 911.
Williams is charged with menacing and was arraigned and remanded to the county jail en lieu of cash bail. No charges were made relating to the firearm.
