Hanna to Meet with DFAS, Rome Lab Employees
Rome, N.Y.- U.S. Representative Richard Hanna, R-Barneveld, will meet with the Rome Defense Finance and Accounting Service and the Rome Air Force Research Laboratory employees next Monday, December 12th.
Rep. Hanna will participate in a forum at the Griffiss Institute concerning possible defense-related cuts in future years. It has been speculated that a federal Base Realignment and Closure Commission process could take place in 2015.
Hanna will talk about the importance to protect and promote military facilities throughout the state and especially in Rome.
State Senator Joseph Griffo and Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi will also attend the forum and express their views.
