During the Christmas season, the Salvation Army Red Kettles and volunteer bell ringers are a familiar sight. On this week's edition of "Around Central New York," Joe Kelly speaks with Captain Frank Picciotto, who is in charge of Salvation Army operations in the Greater Utica area. Joe, by the way, is the honorary chairman of this year's Red Kettle campaign and -- I'm proud to say -- a bunch of us from WUTR joined Joe and Captain Picciotto, along with Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente and Mayor-elect Rob Palmieri this past Saturday and we all rang the bell at WalMart in North Utica. The public was very generous.
