Flags are at half-staff Tuesday at the Oneida County Office to honor Oneida County Legislator Patricia Hudak.

63-year-old Patricia, also known as Patty, passed away this past weekend after battling cancer. Patricia served for over 11 years on the Oneida County Board of Legislators. She was elected as the Minority Leader and served on numerous committees in the area.

"She was a dedicated public servant and always did what was in the best interest of her constituents. Her peers on the Board of Legislators recognized this and voted her to the leadership position of Minority Leader, and appointed her to a number of important committees on the Board," said County Executive Anthony Picente, Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:15 a.m. from the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court Street, Rome and at St. John Baptist Church at 12 p.m.
