Seatbelt Violation Leads to Arrest in Oneida

53-year-old Garry H. Cullen of Oneida was arrested following a traffic stop in the City of Oneida.

Tuesday morning, he was pulled over because he was not wearing his seatbelt. State Police say Cullen appeared to be intoxicated. Cullen took a breath test where it was determined that his blood alcohol content was .30%.

Cullen was charged with a Felony DWI, agrrivated DWI with a BAC of .18% or more and no seatbelt. Cullen was remanded to the Madison County Jail in lieu of $1,500 cash bail or $2,500 bond and is to re-appear in the City of Oneida Court at a later date.
