A multi-modal transportation center is finally taking shape in Downtown Utica.

It'll be located at the intersection of Charlotte and Bleecker Streets.

The center will accommodate nine Centro buses around a center platform, covered by a canopy.

The project will also include a 2,600 square foot headhouse which will have public restrooms along with a climate-controlled waiting area for transit riders.

The center is expected to be completed in late November.
