Cuomo announces funding to revamp Schoharie Crossing

The Mohawk Valley Regional Economic Development Council announced some
much needed funding for the Schoharie Crossing to promote tourism and
aid flood recovery.
The crossing has been awarded $95,000 in funding for their damaged flood facilities and to advance public work projects.
The money will also be used for a new playground, new signs, and other updates.
It comes as part of Governor Andrew Cuomo's Regional Council initiative.
Schoharie Crossing is a historical landmark in the Mohawk Valley that provides New Yorkers a place to learn about the state's history and to spend some time outdoors.
