Herkimer Police Department to host National Prescription Take Back Day

By: WUTR Eyewitness News
Updated: May 29, 2012
As a way to help combat the abuse of prescription pills, the Herkimer Police Department will be teaming up with the Drug Enforcement Administration for National Prescription Take Back Day.

If you have any unused or expired medication that you don't know what to do with, you can drop them off at the Village Hall in Herkimer from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 28.

The drop box is accessible 24/7, so if you can't make it to Saturday's event, you can drop your pills off at any time.
