As we've been reporting, this weekend is national drug take-back weekend. The Oneida Nation hosted their drug take-back earlier today. The effort has collected nearly 500 tons of prescription medication in a little over a year. Oneida Nation Police Chief Joseph Smith expresses just how important national prescription take-back day is. He says, "Their dangerous to have, this is a sensible way to take care of used drugs." If you missed today's event, you can drop off your unwanted or expired prescription drugs tomorrow at the casino from ten until two.
