Utica man sentenced after third illegal re-entry

A Utica man was sentenced today after illegally re-entering the United States after prior deportation.
manuel Carrasco, 42, originally from the Dominican Republic, will be spending the next 56 months in prison for coming back into America after he was already deported twice.
According to Police, Carrasco was removed from the United States in 2001 and again in 2006 after imprisonment for a felony drug conviction.
Carrasco faces a third deportation after his sentence.
