Farm in Herkimer County to receive funding to expand operations

Senator Kirsten Gillibrand announced today a $20,000 grant will be going
to the Mohawk Valley Economic District to help a local farm expand
their operations.
The money granted to the district will go towards new equipment for the Jones Family Farm.
Senator Gillibrand says farming is one of the most important economic engines we have.
The Jones family will use some of the money to purchase new equipment to support their cheese and gelato making operations.
