Covered in Own Blood; Oneida Man Suspected to be High On Bath Salts Attacks Neighbor

The powerful and dangerous bath salts drug is making its way into the headlines across the nation and even here at home. 45-year-old David Schrader was found by an Oneida County Sheriff's Deputy covered in his own blood on the side of the road.
Further investigation revealed that Schrader had tried to attack a neighbor when she was leaving for work this morning. The victim was able to get away, which is when he ran into the road.
According to Oneida County officials, he was using bath salts prior to the incident. Schrader is currently in St. Elizabeth's Hospital, and when released, will go to Oneida County Correctional Facility.
