A Vernon Man under the influence of Bath Salts was charged after crashing his vehicle into a tree.   32-year-old Craig Revette was driving on S. Willow Street when police say he crossed over the center of the road and struck a tree.

He was charged by Oneida police after his speech, condition, and more led police to determine he was under the influence of bath salts.  Revette was suspected to have smoked the drug earlier.

Revette was charged with failure to keep right and reckless driving.   He will return to Oneida City Court at a later date to face the charges.    There was no word on if there were injuries that Revette had from the accident.
