One area animal shelter will be closing its doors and looking for homes for the cats that live there now. The Community Animal Program in Little Falls is looking for cat lovers to adopt more than twenty cats. Many of the remaining cats do have health issues so they're asking for caring adopters. One caretaker says the closure is a result of money issues.
Larry Ortlieb President of Community Animal Program says, "Due to also economic situations the cost of maintaining the shelter and the animals and the fact that volunteers are getting harder and harder to come by, the organization a few months away, quite a few months ago decided to start to downsize." If you're interested in adopting a furry friend you can stop by the shelter in Little Falls.
