It's an inherited chronic disease that affects nearly thirty-thousand Americans per year. Cystic fibrosis is an incurable disease, but that doesn't slow down one special New York Yankee fan. Ten year old Aaron Tarbania of Rome was presented with some special Yankee memorabilia today thanks to the genesis group. Aaron says he feels very lucky and can't wait to hang up his new Yankee gear.

Aaron says, "I'm excited I got these things because they're special."

Lani, his mother says, "Today meant not...not just being heavy hearted, but having a more positive outlook on it and not just being sad."

Aaron has just returned from a trip where he was able to meet a few of his favor Yankee players.
