Attention college students, can you imagine being able to review online class lectures from any angle? One SUNYIT professor was awarded a grant through SUNY to do just that. The product is called Class-x and it allows students to review specific portions of a professor's lesson after the class is done. This program was one of forty-eight funded across the State University of New York system. Professor Sarner says the program gives students options they've never had before.

Professor Ron Sarner says, "We get a wide view of the entire classroom and the viewer can zoom in on any portion of that image and change it at will. So if they want to see what I'm doing on the board they can look there, if they want to look at the slide they can look there. If we're doing a PowerPoint they can click on a particular slide and be taken right to the point in the lecture that slide was being discussed."

SUNYIT had two other grants approved through the innovative instruction technology grants.
