It's an event dedicated to celebrating the forest industry. Today the 65th annual Woodsman's Field Days opened up from the Boonville Fairgrounds. The family event is a trade show and sporting event rolled into one. Over four hundred volunteers help to put on the event. And those who attend always find something to capture their interest.

John Buczek of Floyd says, "I'm just an observer, seeing all the equipment like Jonathan had explained and looking for things to buy, purchasing. And enjoying seeing the many people that we actually know."

The Woodsman's field days will continue through the weekend rain or shine!
