There was a large turnout for the 4th annual Bob Ingalls Scholarship Golf Tournament this afternoon in Clinton. Bob Ingalls was the former director of the Utica Boilermaker who passed away from pancreatic cancer 4 years ago. Mr. Ingalls' wife and tournament coordinator says over 100 golfers took part to raise money for a scholarship in his honor.

"A lot of his friends come out and we share good memories of bob and it's really a day to have fun. after bob was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, we had a little over a year to have fun," says Judy Ingalls, Mr. Ingalls' wife and tournament coordinator.

Ingalls says the 500 dollar scholarship will be given to a graduating senior from Clinton High School who is active in the community. She says community service was very important to Bob and she wants to remind high schoolers the importance of giving back to their community.
