Group of Four Arrested After Attempted Robbery

Four people have been arrested after attempting to rob a person walking home. According to police, last night at 11:40, the victim was walking home when he passed four males on bikes.
The victim said they said something sarcastic to him but he kept walking. As he walked past a store, he noticed they were behind him, but then minutes later they had disappeared.
He heard the males and saw they were hiding behind some bushes. The suspects chased him and taunted him the whole way home. He got to his apartment and locked the door.
He was able to call police and provide officers with a detailed description of his pursuers. Police found the group of men on bikes at Varick St and Sunset Ave and arrested them.
The men were charged with attempted robbery in the third degree.
