Gander Mountain Kicks Off Shoe Give-A-Way

Gander Mountain is kicking off a massive shoe Give-A-Way. The "Mountain
of Shoes" Sweepstakes will give-a-way more than 1,000 pairs of shoes.
The New Hartford store manager says they want to give back to loyal
customers, while promoting Gander Mountain as they launch into
performance footwear.
"It's to recognize the customers who are consistent shoppers but also bring in a new demographic, who know us as a hunting, fishing, camping store but really don't know that we carry the higher end brands of apparel and footwear and those are the people that we want to recognize and bring into the store, bring into the fold," says Mark Cole, New Hartford store manager.
Gander Mountain's expansion to performance footwear also pushed the company to hire an additional 400 new employees nationwide.
