Dominique Cook and Octavius Garrett are charged with second-degree murder in the death of Anthony Garner.
The two appeared in Oneida County Court Tuesday morning.
Both Cook and Garrett's attorneys told Judge Michael Dwyer that they wouldn't be accepting the plea deals.
The two are scheduled to appear in court again in October where a trial date will be set.
If found guilty, the two could spend 25 years to life in prison.
Eyewitness News was not able to reach Cook and Garrett's attorneys for comment.
