Focus Rehab & Nursing Center moving forward with new managment

As we reported back in April, one area organization is off the state's troubled facility list and is now moving forward with new management.
The Focus Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Utica has been expanding its services to residents. Officials say they've been making positive changes all around the facility including the dining room and buying new equipment.
"We're always looking for ways to improve. And try to get the word out in the community that this is no longer Loretto. This is a new ownership this is a new management team. We are looking to improve the way we handle people and focus residents before anything else," said Director of Admissions, Nick Flihan.
A new library also has been built so residents can check out books and CDs. More than two hundred people live in the Focus community.
