SUNY IT launched it's first President's Lecture Series this afternoon.
SUNY IT welcomed internationally renowned physicist Pavel Winternitz, an
award-winning researcher in mathematical physics. Some students say
they're happy the school is giving them these opportunities.
"It's beneficial to any student to go learn as much as they can. I mean that's why they're here is to learn," says Brandon Richey, SUNY IT student.
"It gives the students opportunities to come and learn more. It just shows how SUNY IT is trying to put their hand out to the students. And just say hey, we offer so much, why don't you just grab my hand and we can all learn?" says Evan Campbell, SUNY IT student.
SUNY IT says this will be the first of many lecture series. And all lectures are free and open to the public.
