With the first presidential debate just a little over a week away - political pollsters are making their predictions.
A new Zogby Poll of nearly 900 likely voters nationwide, shows president Obama opening up an 8 point lead over governor Mitt Romney.
Eyewitness News spoke with John Zogby and he says Governor Romney has slipped - and says Romney needs to show people that quote "He's one of them."
"He's met tens of thousands of people along the way. He's gonna have to show in the debate that he remembers some of those names, some of the people. Name a waitress in Ohio, name a mechanic in North Carolina, name a used car salesman, someone whose out of work in Florida, be sure that he understands as president of the united states, he impacts real people," says John Zogby, founder of the Zogby Poll.
The first Presidential debate will be held October 3rd in Denver, Colorado.
