Church members at St. Volodymry's Ukrainian Church in Utica, have been busy making final preparations for their big event tomorrow.
It's their annual Ukrainian Festival and members say they've peeled hundreds of potatoes and onions to make their famous pierogies.
And despite recent vandalism at their church, members say they are putting that behind them and moving forward.
"We had a number of people last year and the first thing they said when they left was that they couldn't wait for us to put this on again next year. So we are looking forward for people to come back as well as expose our tradition and culture to new people who want to come into the auditorium," said Zyn Jackiw.
There will be an Ukrainian band and a group of traditional dancers from Rochester that will be performing.
The festival begins tomorrow at 3 in the afternoon and runs until 9 p.m. and again on Saturday from noon to 9 p.m.
