Earlier this week seniors had the chance to meet candidates running for
political office, but on Thursday afternoon, college students had their
turn.
Mohawk Valley Community College hosted a "Meet the Candidates Event" on campus.
The forum was to help get the younger generation to take part in the upcoming election.
"Most people that are my age don't care," said Reanna Fusco. "They're still in still, the government doesn't really affect them, but it does, especially in school," said the MVCC student.
Fusco says she hopes to see a lot of young people at the polls this year.
