After 35 years anchoring the news weeknights at 6 and 11, WKTV's main anchor, Bill Worden, is retiring, according to a release from the tv station.

The longtime anchor says he treasures his years with the station and said tonight you wont see him scuffling around in slippers.

Mr. Worden says he will continue to anchor for the remainder of the month.

Eyewitness News would like to congratulate Mr. Worden for achievements and service to the community.
