It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas on one street in the city of Utica. Volunteers gathered this morning, setting up for the annual Christmas on Main Street.
Although the event doesn't officially kick off until November 17th, coordinators got a head start decorating. Gene Allen, a volunteer says it will be a great time for the family, especially because it doesn't break the bank.
"I see people now that were children coming here that are actually helping us now and volunteering. Everyone looks forward to it and unlike a lot of other venues this one is totally free," said Volunteer Gene Allen.
The decorations were set up in Baggs Square, right near Union Station, where the Main Street event will be held.
