One organization is helping more than 300 children have a memorable holiday this year.
The Family Nurturing Center hosted their 12th annual Christmas party today at Westminster Church in Utica.
Children were opening presents and took pictures with Santa. One attendee says events like today bring his family closer together.
"It gives us experience to bond with them easier and bring us closer together as a family. It helps us understand them as far as what to do to them, so they come to us more," said Donald Ditcher, a Rome resident.
All the presents were donated by community members. The organization is helping over 180families this holiday season.
