The man charged with 2nd degree manslaughter in a high speed car chase back in May was in Herkimer County Court on Tuesday.
Daniel Conklin of Rochester was there for another pre-trial conference.
Back in May police say Conklin led them on a chase that ended in the death of a Frankfort woman.
District Attorney, Jeffrey Carpenter says a mental exam has been ordered by the court, which could delay further hearings and a trial for Conklin depending on the outcome.
Carpenter says the exam was requested by the defense, but could not discuss reasons why.
Conklin's pre-trial hearings are set for January 29th to discuss identification issues as well as statements that he may have made.
Currently, his trial is scheduled to begin in March.
